DTC's 5-Phase Web Design Framework Explained

Every Designed To Conquer project moves through the same five phases. We call it the CONQUER Path™. It is not a project management checklist — it is a decision framework that determines what we build, why we build it, and in what order. Here is exactly what happens in each phase.

Phase 1: Clarify

Before we design anything, we learn your business. This means understanding your offer, your ideal client, your competitors, your current digital presence, and what success looks like at the end of the project. The Clarify phase produces the brief that every subsequent decision is measured against.

Most studios skip this phase. Most projects that fail skipped this phase.

Phase 2: Optimize

In the Optimize phase, we audit your current presence — website, SEO, offer clarity, and lead flow.
