We recently connected with Entrepreneur/ Motivational Speaker/ Mom Shinere Taylor
Shinere , thank you for joining me today. What inspired you on the path of entrepreneurship and can you share a pivotal moment that defined your entrepreneurial journey?
I always knew I would be an entrepreneur since I was a child ! I love helping others! Always was a leader never followed the crowd. My children are my inspiration! They are the reason I do what I do . OVERALL life’s trials and tribulations inspire every day to not quit and give it your all ! Where you were doesn’t determine where you going.
Reflecting on your journey, what unexpected challenges have you encountered, and how did you navigate them?
Being a entrepreneur in itself brings you unexpected challenges and obstacles you have to face and overcome! Failing is inevitably but quitting is a choice and I choose not to. I think about all the things I went through and where I’m at today and it lets me know there is nothing I can’t overcome or do once my mind is set out to do it!
How do you believe your unique background and perspective have contributed to your success as an entrepreneur?
I’ve seen a lot and I’ve learn a lot from everyone I’ve encountered and I’ve met some of the best people in some bad situations ! Even in my worst situations I’ve grown and face adversity with a smile.
It's like a rulebook that tells everyone exactly how a brand should look, sound, and feel so that it's recognizable everywhere
Can you share an instance where embracing a different perspective led to innovative solutions or strategies in your business?
I went to a workshop for a self help organization and I was around a bunch of different people from all walks of life and different backgrounds and I had to speak and share some of my most vulnerable moments! That workshop helped me be more confident in public speaking and being comfortable with telling my story !
How do you balance risk-taking with calculated decision-making to navigate uncertainties in your industry?
No risk No reward The only risk is the ones I don’t take but that’s just me
How do you manage stress and maintain focus during challenging periods in your entrepreneurial journey?
Being able to reset and doing some self care therapy ! I’m a big mental health advocate !
What role do you think mentorship plays in fostering a culture of support and growth within the entrepreneurial community?
Mentorship is important because if I can help someone not make the same mistakes I’ve made while on this journey why not ? It’s about evolving! Seeing my friends and others win motivates me to do better and not let up

In your opinion, what role does networking play in the continuous evolution and adaptability of an entrepreneur?
Networking is big ! You can meet the right person at the right time ! I believe in alignment.
As you look back, what advice would you give to your younger self when starting your entrepreneurial venture?
Sometimes the people we want on this journey isn’t the people we need !
